Long time no speak! Hope your all doing well, I had some lasering done a couple of months ago and last check up was fine so back in 4 months, I also had the other side of my lip pierced 7 weeks ago, been out to the dentist today, I know newbies will be thinking big deal right! but to the oldies that know me here and know I suffer badly with severe contamination OCD they'll know this is huge! Obviously still assisted by Bruce and anxiety levels still through the roof but it's nice to get out when I can manage with his help, he's not doing too well himself sadly, recurring ingrown toenail and also the poor bloke has now been told from a latest set of blood tests that he's wheat intolerant so big changes will likely need made (celiac going to be tested for) anyway just wanted to pop in and say hi as I know I'm pretty bad at that these days, sorry! Xxxx

Good to hear from you! Welcome back!

Despite the 'long time, no see' - I'm pleased you're still as OK-ish as you can be. Hugs to Bruce, darned painful things, ingrowing toenails.

Lovely to ‘see’ you again @Kaylz. Welcome back!

Sooooo good to hear from you @Kaylz and well done on all that you are managing to do. Very pleased.

Lovely to hear from you @Kaylz !

Well done on your piercing. You should feel proud of yourself.

Great to hear your laser surgery went well too <3

Sorry to hear about Bruce’s wheat woes, hope he gets some help and advice, and a good way forward as the checks clarify what’s up.

Thank you so much for the warm welcome back you lovely lot!

@trophywench he's having his toenail removed on the 16th, he was at podiatry on Thursday morning and they said there was nothing they could do for him there and then to relieve it any so was given the option of partial or full removal, the guy advised full would be best seen as this is the second time although he still has the option to go partial on the day

@everydayupsanddowns I am very proud of myself, I'd popped in the previous week to see if they had any jewellery for the side I had done already (I was out for my haircut at the time) and she'd had to order some in for me that was supposed to arrive the following week but they didn't arrive so I thought wth I'll just get a new piercing just now  Bruce was back for more blood tests that the dietician asked for and he has an appointment over the phone some time in may for his wheat woes

Sadly Bruce hasn't had the best day and is now in hospital hopefully only for the night until they get his pain under control, his epilepsy medication was changed and although the change went quite smoothly and he's been doing fine on the new one for about 3 months he sadly had 2 seizures within 16 hours, the first one he was on his own in the kitchen, the second we were in the kitchen together so I was able to guide him slowly to the floor when I noticed he became vacant, grey and stumbled backwards, he wasn't for getting up this time so against his wishes I had to phone for help and they decided he needed an ambulance crew, as he wouldn't move or allow them to move his left shoulder they took him in for an x-ray, his shoulder is ok, no major damage but the first one he had he's managed to fracture his sternum, it's my first night alone in the house and I have to say I didn't realise how vulnerable I'd feel without him here, but I managed to touch keys and open the front door and also cope with his dad and 2 paramedics in the house so there's an improvement there although it might have been adrenaline and knowing there were no other options, anyway I've only had 4 hours sleep since getting up on Thursday morning so I better go and try and get some more and hopefully tomorrow I can update you with the news he's getting home, everything crossed! Xxxx

Hi Kaylz,

You coped really well, and I can tell you even after being married for 39 years, I still do not sleep well when alone at night, so you did fantastically well.

Really sorry to hear about Bruce having 2 seizures in a short space of time and that he has been admitted to hospital, hoping he come home very soon.

Thanks guys, we're not sure how long he's being kept in for as he's on morphine I'm not feeling like I'm coping too well at the moment and just really want a hug from him
