I would think this has been asked before but does anyone drink herbal teas? i've started drinking Nettle tea and Green tea during the day at work (not much just one cup of each a day) but i've read that Nettle tea is good for the blood, probably not so much for glucose lowering but it can't do any harm. Also Green tea, i think we are quite aware of the benefits of it. Does anyone else drink these?

Yes I do (but I'm not diabetic) and so does my 10 year old (she is). We have green tea and also jasmine tea (same as in a chinsese restaurant which we love).

We love them and I have also read it is good for bloods, no idea if that is true or not.

I drink the occasional mug of lemon green tea (Jacksons). No milk or sugar.

Health benefits? Don't really care, I just like it! :D

But it does claim to be a natural source of antioxidants.

I love them, particularly when the alternative is normal tea or coffee with powdered milk; they're ideal in thermos flasks, as no milk to "go off" before drink cools too much to want to finish; lemon & ginger (perhaps with whisk(e)y and / or honey and / or lemon juice) is particularly good with a cold.. However, I can't understand while camomile is said to be good for an upset stomach - the smell alone makes me feel sick!
