That looks impressive rossi! I'm glad the display isn't too small for those of us who struggle without our reading glasses!

That looks good Rossi, the only thing missing is a way to adjust the depth of the lancet. I think the hinge idea could be a problem as the unit is likely going to be made of plastic which breaks quite easily, two end caps would be better. Finally, how do you get the lancet out to change it?

On the back with the rachet there should be some depth guide you're right.

Maybe an inner cap for the lancet so when that removed you can access the lancet to remove it from it's housing?

Hinges you're right dodgy!

looks brilliant for a sketch well done rossi mind you i cant read any of it , not even with glasses on but i get the genaral idea by looking at the piccie

I bought a wonderful case from the below website. It holds my meter, finger jabber, strips, spare needles, 2 insulin pens and a tube of glucotabs. Now when leaving the house I only have to check that one thing is in my bag not about 5, and as it is not black I can easily see if it is there or not. Unfortunately it is an American company, but they do post to the UK.

Just a quick sketch in AutoCAD, glad you could read it all! I didn't get involved with "actual" dimensions/sizes just a concept!😛
