OK so definately no where near low. Either you are experiencing false hypos where you are used to high blood sugar levels and so your body panics when you start to have lower levels or the symptoms are not diabetes related.
8.6 seems to be quite high to be experiencing false hypos though.

Hi Karen83!,

Sorry to hear you're not feeling well. We can't offer any type of medical diagnosis as it could be any number of things, especially given that your numbers are in the normal range.

If you don't feel well, I would give 111 a call for advice as this is precisely what they are there for and will be happy to help.

Hi!! Thank u for replying!! I'm in Northern Ireland and cant ring 111

Hi Karen, apologies!

I'm just concerned as you mentioned feeling as though you may faint and I'd hate for you to get any advice that proved unhelpful. It would be different if your numbers were abnormal but they seem to be fine. It's worth checking in with your GP or some form of medial professional as soon as you can even if you begin to feel better.

I've had a look online and found this, not sure if it applies to you but thought i'd share anyway https://www.nidirect.gov.uk/articles/gp-out-hours-service.

Do let us know how you get on.

Hope you managed to get some advice @Karen83!

Erratic and fluctuating BG levels can make you feel pretty grim :(
