I think Medtronic announced that they can’t send batteries any more a year or so back - not that I ever used to get them to, I’ve always just bought them.

Medtronic send me batteries - do you not get sent any? Seems unfair!

Hi again
Thank you thank you for the great helpful advice. Sooooo appreciated.
I have felt quite queasy today. I am hoping maybe it’s just my body settling down and getting used to the meds etc. I’ve got my hospital appt in the morning so will also try and sort this exemption and try and see the GP and avoid that hideous locum if I can !!
I had a bit of an emotional meltdown this morning I think the realisation hit me a little. Is that normal ? Did any of you guys feel that way ?
Thanks 🙂

Absolutely normal mate!! I had meltdowns - always with hardly any warning - whenever I had them. Went on for years until one day I thought to myself Blimey! - that hasn't happened for a while! And that's how it goes Claudia - perfectly normal and given time - it eventually stops!

Have read of this - potty as it sounds at first it's EXACTLY the same process as having a bereavement. I can still after 45 years plot my course through the 'Five Stages of Grief'; here you go - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kübler-Ross_model

(I used to have a better link, often posted, but that doesn't work any more.)

Your reassurance just made me cry but in a good way.
Today is defo a meltdown day
The reminder of the EKR model of grief is timely and helpful. You are bang on the money.
Thank you x
