Hi so my GP changed me over from regular Metformin to the prolonged released Metformin but my bloods are climbing.
Regular Metformin was working, but because of a gallbladder attack from Cholecystitis with stones, apparently from rapid weight loss with sudden diet change, my body since then has been having issues with nausea and vomiting, and constipation. The Dr changed my Metformin to see if it would help my bowels, it doesn't feel like things have changed.
Other than less nausea, but I'm worried as all I have read is that Metformin regular is ment to work the same as prolonged released,
Anybody else had something similar?
