Woken at 3am with a hypo, 2;6. Had a snack and back to sleep. But what caused it? I had 2 poached eggs for my tea, as that was all I fancied. I get a lot of mild nausea and have gone off food, finding it tricky to eat and enjoy meals. What should I always take before bed time to ensure no more hypos?

@lynbrown Are you on insulin? If so, what insulins do you take and when?

If you usually eat more carbs for tea, then that would be a possible cause. Tell us more about your medication/insulin and then you’ll get more tailored suggestions.

@lynbrown Are you trying more carbs for tea this evening? If you have no appetite, go for concentrated carbs.

Once you confirm if you’re on insulin or not, and what insulin you’re taking, I’m sure you’ll get more replies.

@Inka
Looking at the OP's previous posts, I wonder if she is able to figure out how to access replies or respond to replies because over the years she has not replied to a single response to her initial post on threads she has started.

@lynbrown If you are reading this, if you scroll down below what I have written there is a box where you can type more information and then there is a blue tab below the bottom right hand corner of the box which says post reply. If you click that once you have answered @Inka's questions, we will be able to help you better.
