Relationship to Diabetes
Type 1
I think I'm doing this all a bit backwards (posted my rant first and now I'm introducing myself... only just found this section!)

Hi all,
My name is Natalie, I am 29 years old, live in Surrey and have had type 1 diabetes since I was 18 months old.

So hello to you all and thanks everyone for posting back to me (I feel better already 🙂 )

Natalie

Hi Natalie! No problems getting your feelings off your chest first! Welcome to the forum.🙂

Wow, 18 months? That must have been so distressing for your parents. I think the youngest we have is Adrienne's daughter who became diabetic for somewhat different reasons shortly after birth when she had her pancreas removed due to it producing too much insulin!😱

welcome Natalie, you must have expereinced alot of changes in the time you have had diabetes. I've had it almost 10 years now. Will be great to see you at the meet

welcome nat...i did the same...had a good rant then introduced myself!! see you at the meet🙂

Hi Natalie, welcome to this wonderful forum - hope having a rant helped you in some small way, that's one of the reasons this place exists!! You'll usually find that whatever is upsetting/annoying/confusing you, there are others here who have experienced just the same thing!

Look forward to meeting you in London.

xx
