Type 2
I'm new to the forum. Im British, but currently living overseas due to husband s job, in a country where there are no diabetes support groups.
So I'm glad to find this group.

Hello CHATS and welcome to the forum!

The best thing to do is to read through older Threads & Posts, on whatever Sections interest you
You will see that everyone is friendly & helpful, and there is a lot of information, advice, and encouragement
Then ask your own questions or tell us a bit about yourself, if you wish
No questions on here are considered strange or silly, so don't be embarrassed, we all started with little knowledge of the Dreaded D

Hi @Chats and welcome to the forum.
Please ask any questions you have and the members in here will do their best to answer - though we don't always agree with each other because each individual's diabetic experience is different.
However if you are a fairly ordinary Type 2, then I think we can all agree that it is possible (but nor certain) for you to achieve remission, meaning non-diabetic blood Glucose levels without needing diabetes medications.
Where we tend disagree is in our own personal experience of the best paths to try to get to that point.

Welcome to the forum @Chats

How long have you been living with diabetes? Does it run in your family, or did it come out of the blue? Diabetes can be quite an isolating experience, and it can really help to have others living with the condition to compare notes with, and to give and receive support 🙂

How do you manage your diabetes? Are you on medication or do you try to manage your blood glucose levels with diet and exercise?

How have you been finding things?
