Yes I’m new, wading my way through this new world. T2 with BS mostly in it teens on medication Dapagliflozin and losing a lot of weight, this is no bad thing. I spent months wondering why I felt unwell then realised what it was. I’m lucky as my journey is being charted by my GP who has spent a lot of time realising that MetFormin is not for me (ugly side effects), just waiting for results from a fit test. I’m 54 and bits of me are falling off….. But I’m not giving up. I work full time and really enjoy being with my family and creating memories. I’ve got a libre2 gadget to try, any advice would be great. I’m interested in different recipes as I do like to cook and bake. You won’t find me banging on about BS’s as I’m aware that we are all walking a bit of a tightrope. Be good to connect with people.

Great that you have found us!

Good that your GP is keeping a close eye on you.

A diagnosis with diabetes can be quite overwhelming to begin with, but things will get easier, honest!

Have you been working at the weight loss or did it just sort of happen? Have the meds been working OK for you (side effects notwithstanding!)

Weight loss a bit of both really, you are quite right this is overwhelming. Thankfully at present the meds are ok but as I cannot get my BS down respectably I fear another change may be in the offing! Hey ho
