Hello everyone

I am Melanie, currently living in Newport, South Wales. Type 2 and I have been since the 39th week of my second pregnancy in January 2000 (wasn't tested earlier even though there is a family history of T2D and was tested in my first 🙄) so I have lived with this for over 20 years. Had a few blips along the way, but finally getting on top of everything. My recent Ac1 was 55 but this has been during lockdown! Hoping to learn some new things from these forums.

Welcome to the forum @Melanie T

Glad you have found us 🙂

Well done on your recent A1c, and managing to get to grips with things during lockdown.

Ask away with any questions, or just feel free to rant and moan among others who will instinctively ‘get it’ 🙂

Hi and welcome to the forum, I'm also in Newport. Hope you find the forum helpful and if you have any questions feel free to ask away.
