Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
I am just saying hello. I have had type 2 diabetes for about 18 years and my sugars etc have been up and down for most of that time. Since I retired from work last June, I have found it much easier to control my diabetes. I have found that getting into a routine has helped a great deal and it has also stopped me from snacking between meals. I have been able to reduce my insulin intake and I feel so much better for it.
During this lockdown, a routine has also helped me from getting bored and deviating from what I need to do. Any way, hello!

Hello and welcome to the forum Darellb. 🙂

Welcome to the forum @Darellb

Diabetes does like a bit of routine!

Hello @Darellb
Welcome, and good to hear that diabetes control is going well for you.
As you say, it is a bit easier to find the time to stay focused on what you are eating, and like you I find that the lockdown has had a positive effect on my diabetes control as well - much less access to food and temptations!

I hope you enjoy the forum, there are lots of different threads and topics to follow and join in if you wish.
