Hi Everyone,

My name is Taslima! I look forward to sharing experiences as well as taking influence and knowledge from the more experienced.

A little bit about me... i am currently a mature student speech and language therapist- and a mummy to a one year old. I was diagnosed with diabetes 5 years ago at the age of 23.

Hi Taslima and welcome from me too.

How are you managing your diabetes? I am relatively new to it (diagnosed in Feb this year) but unfortunately ended up on insulin despite my best dietary efforts. Are you able to keep your BG levels stable with diet and/or oral meds?
Good luck with your studies. That sounds like an interesting and rewarding field to work in. I bet it is difficult studying with such a young child!
