I have been diabetic (Type 2) for a number of years and unfortunately not managed it well. My HbA1c results would average 100 (11.3%). After a long period of illness, an MRI scan of my head and neck revealed 'furring' of the arteries and a drastic change of diet became essential. This has led to my last HbA1c being in the low 50s (6.7% -ish), and I feel so much better.
