Haven't been on the forum in months, due to supporting my son through GCSEs and lots of other stuff. How is everyone?

Doing fine, thanks Redkite 🙂 Good to hear from you again, I hope your lad got the results he was hoping for 🙂

Hiya Redkite, fine here. Yes, hope for good results. 🙂

Well done to your son on his results, it sounds like you have a brainy lad there! My daughter has just started secondary school and is absolutely loving it, they have a fully qualified nurse on site all the time who clearly understands diabetes, and a great system in place at lunch time for diabetic students, so that's one load of worry off my mind!

Welcome back. My son did those subjects for A level. I thought it would let me off the hook, ( I'm a non scientist). I managed to escape any involvement in maths, but I still found myself testing him on Physics stuff!

Lol, I actually enjoy these subjects, but it's many years since I did my A levels (1985) and I've forgotten a lot 🙄

Nice to hear from you again @Redkite. Congratulations to your son. For his interest on space science, he should look out for Tim Peake's space capsule, which is touring Science Museums. Currently at Science and Media Museum in Bradford until November.
