Good morning rhubarbpie Great name! Welcome You're in the right place for help and advice 🙂

Welcome to the forum - and great name one of my favorite food items lol

Heh, yeah 🙂 Rhubarbpie is my name on the My Little Pony collectors forums. I decided I'd best keep it for here, though it is probably not the best name on a Diabetic board LOL!!

I am currently taking metfomin and saxaglyptin to control my diabetes.

Welcome rhubarb pie, fab name, good to have you with us.

Welcome to the forum, Rhubarbpie. Regarding weight loss, do consider activity / exercise is the other part of the equation, as well as food. Does Tewkesbury still have a swimming pool? As a child in late 60s / early 70s, it was the nearest indoor pool, so our Mum used to bring me and my sister and borrow floats from the lifeguards. Both of us could swim confidently by the time we started school. The outing usually included walking to riverbank via a bakers to buy donuts to eat while we watched swans, kayakers etc.

Hi Copepod, yes we still have cascades! Plus the secondary school has a decent pool too, though not sure if they still let the public swim there on school holidays. I think the council are planning on shutting cascades now though 😡

Thanks for updating. Rhubarbpie. You'd best get to Cascades, so council realise that people use and value the facility 🙂 I doubt it would close, more likely that council would seek a contractor to run it. Or the secondary school pool if it's still open for public use at any time.
