Type 2
Hi there, just found this site and thought 'what a good idea'

I am 42, been diagnosed with Type 2 for about 5 yrs now, and gone through a fairly typical pattern. Lost a lot of weight in the first year or two, but now find myself heavier than ever and not a particularly 'good' diabetic.

Always been fairly active, did a half marathan last year and hill walking my main hobby, with weekly badminton and occasional gym, but struggling to get the motivation to get off my bum and move around enough at present. Food intake I would describe as reasonable, but always capable of improvement.

So that is me, hello, and any tips on motivation greatly appreciated.

Cheers
Malc

Hi Malc and welcome! Maybe the better weather will motivate you to get out on those hills a bit more? I find winter so difficult and Spring can never come soon enough!🙂
