Just saying hello
James, 62, T2, 5 years. Metformin, Gliclazide, Amlodipine and aspirin.
Just rid myself of Statins following the advice of a registrar and feel loads better.
Managed to squeeze Testosterone Replacement Therapy out of the NHS due to a low count following a specific blood test as well as being impotent for the last 5 years. Feeling much better and starting to regain an occasional reaction down below!
Brain fog, muscle aches, tendonitis, all disappearing.

Just went into hospital, again on Saturday for yet another UTI, (still under investigation for an earlier one 2 months ago). Out of hours GP suggested coming off the "kidney scrubbing" drug I've been taking as this can cause thrush and UTIs. So that's another tablet off the list.

Otherwise manage to average 8 on the finger test. Can only get to normal if I fast all day.

Unfortunately because I have a Diastasis recti I look like l have a beer belly (I am tea total) and GPs assume I must be overweight. I actually have no fat on my limbs.I look like a potato person with four cocktail sticks for arms and legs.

Last long term issue now is "fizzy" feet and
calves
(Not picked up by the Diabetes review, they tend to ignore my protestations because I pass the tickle test, therefore I cant have neuropathy of the feet.

hi and welcome

Welcome to the forum @zenmaster

Glad your head seems to be feeling a little clearer these days.

Sorry to hear about the changes in sensations in your feet and calves.

Have you had your Vitamin B12 levels checked? Low levels of Vit B12 can be a cause of tingling or numbness in hands and feet.
