Hello @Bunty ,

Welcome to the forum. Were you recently informed that you were at risk of diabetes?

A couple of months ago. The doctor put me forward for the NHS programme which I was invited to join last week. I am doing the course face to face. First meeting was very good and have joined a gym last week and am starting slowly, been three times this past week. Going at my own pace increasing intensity as I go. I have been inspired by the course leader suggesting small changes to habits which struck a chord with me as previously I would go at it full on and run out of steam, fail and give up.

Sounds good, which NHS programme is this?

Sounds great @Bunty - Hope you’ve found an approach that suits you better and that you can maintain long term 🙂

Is that the Healthier You programme which I have been hearing radio ads for?
