Hi everyone, I’m a newbie here and was diagnosed with T2 in May. It was a big wake up call and I’ve lost 3st so far and am determined to lose another 3, but I’m finding the whole thing a bit confusing, so much conflicting stuff out there (I bet everyone says that) anyway here I am and looking forward to learning more about this condition and chatting to all of you

Thank you, but actually it was a panic reaction to being diagnosed! I’m trying to experiment a little now but its a complicated business and is taking a bit of getting used to

Hi Ambermac, Welcome to the forum.

Panic reaction or not, you've made so great progress so well done! I know it seems confusing when first diagnosed but you've got your head around quite a bit already so do what you can to maintain consistency.

There is a lot of conflicting info out there so don't worry about feeling a bit overwhelmed. We've got quite a bit of info on the main site such as the page below. We've also got the Learning Zone which you'll find by clicking on the orange tab at the top of this page.

Feel free to also reach out to the forum and ask as many questions as you'd like.
