Hi all,
I've not long gotten out of hospital following a diagnosis of type 1. What I thought was going to be an easy GP appointment for a particularly bad bit of man flu turned into 72hrs of being told my potassium levels were dangerously low and I was about five litres short on fluids.
Luckily I've got close family and friends who've really turned up to help, and my local diabetes nurse hasn't left me alone in the world.
Long story short and I'm thirty one and freshly diagnosed, with an armful of paperwork and some ideas on how to test and inject.
Anyway, hello 🙂
