So pleased to be part of your Forum.
I was diagnosed Type2 four years ago, at a routine check-up for another health matter and so thankful that I took a sample with me on that day - didn't usually bother as no-one ever asked me for one, but this particular day I did.
Prescribed Metformin, starting at two a day and now on 4 a day.
Had my latest HBa1c result this morning and my average over the last 4 months was 6.7. I am quite pleased with that as is my nurse.
I struggle sometimes with my diet - I mainly try to eat low carb but sometimes I find I crave carbs. I need a certain amount of fat as I have osteoporosis as well and been told I need to eat dairy foods.
Thank you and I look forward to joining in with you all.
