Diagnosed around 8 weeks ago - hba1c 51.

Thanks SB. I'll be taking you all up (on the asking of questions) for sure.Well done Paula. You have certainly taken in your Diabetes management.
Well done and welcome. Feel free to ask any questions that you have.
I get that, to be honest I wouldn’t go back to my old eating habits now if I could, I feel so much better on low carb and I’m loving the weight loss 😛 makes me smile now when I remember my first week of diagnosis, my life was over, I would never enjoy food again 😱 now six months on, over two stone lighter, sleeping better, more energy and bg under control 😉Thanks Cathy...I never thought it possible to feel as improved in just 2 months. And it's been easy as I've completely lost the desire to eat any of the rubbish I did till then. At least something really positive has come from my getting diagnosed.
Blood pressure - I'm on meds for high blood pressure. I had a problem with low pressure for over 6 months I think, and have had my meds changed a couple of times. Thanks Ralph...wish I could get my BP somewhere near yours!
