Afternoon all!

New to the forum and hoping to learn more and help out where I can 🙂

I've been T1 for almost 4 years now so still learning each day but have also learned a lot in that time. Looking forward to meeting you all in due course.

Hi there @RoyalBlood and welcome to the forum 🙂
You've joined us at a sad time as one of our members sadly passed away, that's why it seems a bit more quiet than usual, but I'm sure some of the others will be along to welcome you soon
In the meantime have a look around and join in where you want to, oh its great to meet you btw! :D xx

Hello @Kaylz, lovely to meet you also 🙂

That's a real shame, but unfortunately part of life - D or no D. I do send out my condolences to the family as there is nothing worse than losing a loved one. Such a shame.

My thoughts and best wishes to those on the forum who are dearly missing the recently departed on this sad day.

Welcome! I am two years in and still feel a beginner. How are you doing?

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Welcome! I am two years in and still feel a beginner. How are you doing?
Not all that bad really. Hba1c has been gradually increasing over the last few results, mainly because I am having issues with DP and morning BG's which unfortunately I can't fully address on MDI. I do hope to start pumping this year (fingers crossed) and I believe it will help me greatly with exercise and morning BG's.

And yourself, how are you doing?

I do hope you get a pump and that it will help with the issues with DP and mornjng BG's.
I am good, thanks, just rather erratic at the moment after being ill but having a better day today. I am taking more rapid insulin than normal but expect soon I will go back to normal, whatever that is!

Welcome RoyalBlood. I am nearly 10 years in and still learning.
This forum is full of people with a wealth of knowledge and I have
learnt most of what I know from members in here.
