Hello.
My name is Rebecca, and I am newly dignosed with Type 2. Went to the doctors on Wednesday evening with what I thought was a kidney infection, and by Thursday afternoon I had been tested, diagnosed, given my tablets, and met with a nurse from the local Diabetes clinic to get my equipment. To say I am pretty dazed is an understatement. It hasn't really sunk in yet and still feels pretty strange.
To be honest, the most daunting thing is the amount of information I will need to learn over the next few weeks and months. I came across the forum really quickly though and I hope that there's a fountain of knowledge in here that will help me get through.
