Relationship to Diabetes
Type 1
I was diagnosed March 2013 with Type 1 and (I think) doing OK so far. Still learning though, which is why I thought I would join this forum. You can never know too much about this nasty little disease!

Hi silverbirch, welcome to the forum 🙂 You're absolutely right, you can't know too much and you will learn something new every day! How did your diagnosis come about, and what insulin regime are you on? One of the best things I found was Type 1 Diabetes in Children Adolescents by Ragnar Hanas - it covers everything to do with diabetes, and despite the title, it is suitable whatever your age (I was 49!).

Please let us know if you have any questions, and jump in wherever you wish! 🙂

Welcome silverbirch. You are in the right place. I've learned loads here.

Welcome Silverbirtch, there's always something new to learn with diabetes and this forum is great with loads of info.

Welcome to the forum silverbirch 🙂
