Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
I’m stuck in a wheelchair and have enough medical problems(including diabetes 2) to keep a small hospital and a pharmacy in business!
Before settling back in England I’ve lived in South-east Asia for more than 30 years and enjoyed every minute of it. I’m married to a Filipina and speak several languages, I have 6 children that I know of and a possible 6 more that I don’t. Only 2 of those are with my wife, the rest are with a previous wife and assorted girlfriends. Apart from my health problems I generally have a good life. I’m interested in learning more about my disease and associated problems and if possible pass on some of my collected wisdom gained over the years. 😎

Hi Kipper, welcome to the forum 🙂 It does sound like you've had an interesting life (so far!), I hope there are many more adventures to come 🙂 Have you been diagnosed long with diabetes?

Please feel free to jump in wherever you wish, or let us know of any questions or concerns we might be able to help you with 🙂

Welcome Kipper. "All human life is here!"

I saw your "Comfortably Numb" comment. Does that mean what I think it means? Are you a Floyd fan?

I got a ticket this morning for the Nick Mason tour in September. Should be excellent.

Anyway, this is the place for all questions and topics. Enjoy!

Welcome to the forum.🙂

Welcome Kipper, how do you manage your diabetes? What are your blood sugars like at the moment?

Well hello Kipper🙂. Nice to hear from you, you sound just like my dad.:D
I`m sorry you are in a wheelchair but happy you are coping. Seems like you`ve
led a fairly active life and wish you well😎. Please ask as many questions
as you need to, take respite in we are all in the same position one way or another.
Remember you are not alone, we are here to help. God bless mate and can we
come to you`re next wedding?🙂😉
