Welcome to the forum, there is information in the Learning Zone about the basics of Type 2 diabetes but how differnt people manage their condition can vary and is very individual. That can depend on how far they are into the diabetes zone so how much above the threshold for diagnosis of 48mmol/mol, that is what their HbA1C is, whether they have been prescribed medication and if they need to lose weight.

As @Leadinglights says, the Learning Zone (the orange tab in the main menu) is packed full of informative bite-sized modules.
You might also find Gretchen Becker’s book T2 Diabetes, the first year, helpful - which you can work through gradually and will give you a solid starting point.
