Hello,

I'm not diabetic but concerned for my brother because he keeps drinking A Lot of water and urinating frequently. He has lost some weight. He is tired a lot (he has Chronic Fatigue Syndrome but the tired he is experiencing now is a lot different). My mother's brother is Type 1 , my grandfather had thyroid condition (I think it was hypothyroidism but not too sure).

Normally before people get diagnosed as having diabetes what is the urine colour? Is it normal/a sign of diabetes for urine to be pale yellow or clear?

Welcome to the forum, MyHealthAndI (unusual name, by the way!)
This page explains the common symptoms of type 1 diabetes in children and young people https://www.diabetes.org.uk/diabetes-the-basics/diabetes-symptoms
The best advice is for your brother to attend GP, explain his symptoms, and he will probably be asked to give urine and blood to be tested.

Normal colour for urine is 'pale straw coloured' - and when we're drinking more, sometimes depending on exactly what we're drinking - but if it's a lot more than usual it might be paler than normal - or indeed it could easily be darker - so you can't really go by colour !

Hello,

Tonight my brother has experiencing tightened skin in the arms, legs, face (It's like swollen feeling but not swollen - is this common symptom of type 1 diabetes? My parents rang the doctor up today to explain and he has an appointment booked for Thursday.

Glad to hear your brother has an appointment booked. If he feels worse, then he should get an emergency appointment sooner.
