Relationship to Diabetes
Type 1
As someone's already said - new on here, but not to diabetes, having been Type 1 for over 30 years. What brings me on here apart from a realisation I ought to be a little more social, is my peripheral neuropathy, which is causing me problems, which are at the moment increasing almost daily. My version seems to be somewhat out of the ordinary. So I'm feeling lonely! I'll put a query about it on the General Messages thread - if that's what it's called - I've forgotten....

Hi John, welcome to the forum 🙂 Sorry to hear about the neuropathy :(

You'll find lots of friendly folk here, although it is a bit quiet today - I suspect it might be partly due to the appearance of that big yellow thing that's appeared in the sky recently after a long absence! 🙂

Hi John!! Welcome to the forum! :D

Hello John a whopping great big hello from me too. It is great to have you with us. I hope you feel at home here as I do myself. I only joined recently but the folks on here made me welcome straight away and they are absolutely brilliant. Some very, very remarkable individuals who seem to overcome every challenge life can chuck at them.

Take care,
Geoff
