Remember it is the carbs that is the important number not the sugars as all carbs convert to glucose. It will be the specific soup and not which brand that will be the difference.
Having been making soup myself I'm afraid I find bought soups pretty horrible.
Hello,

As a T1. Anything with the of which are sugars hot on the heels of the overall carb content with includes anything else? could cause an early spike for what I see on the label and bolus for.

But I agree. The homemade stuff seems to be best, with results. even if I’m just “eyeballing the carb content. I’m not sure if the sugar content is used as a “preservative?” In the canned stuff..

Haven’t had a tinned soup in a very long time. Last time was a Baxter’s?

Only thing I will say with soup for me personally , as it’s a liquid with minimal digestion involved the spike can be pretty rapid.

Nowt wrong with tinned soup, we just buy sainsburys own, swear sainsburys tomato soup tastes just like Heinz although they say they don't make soup for anyone else.

Like @Leadinglights says you can't beat homemade soup using good stock as starter.
