Type 2
I have found that my blood glucose level was 9 when I did the finger prick.

However, before today, it has been from 4.6-7,6.

Does the heat impact ?

I see, Im a type 2 and its very strange.

My last 5 readings

4.6
5.7
5.3
7.8
6.3

now 9

Im type 2 and mine are in the 9s and the only difference is the heat.

Heat has been having a big impact on my levels.
I am T1 and using a closed loop which automatically adjust my background insulin but it takes a cou0le of days to realise what is going on, so I have a bit of a wobble when this starts, and no doubt when it ends.

I am normally lower in the heat too.

Insulin works quicker in the heat (not sure why) also your body is working hard too be cool.

Take it easy and stay hydrated.

It’s easier for us to get dehydrated
