Had very high sugars these last few days 28and the like plus ketones (in pain alot lately) but wondered if anyone suffers with bad heartburn/indigestion when like this or is it another complaint to add to the list? I have had terrible heartburn and seems only when sugars high

I'd go have a chat with my doctor. Is the heart burn worse before or after eating or taking medication? It my be something as simple as eating too quickly, or not drinking enough water with your meal, but is worth getting it checked to rule anything else out

Heartburn

I get it even if i don't eat but only when my sugars are high, i drink 4 litres of water a day at the minute but it only gets bad when my sugars are high and i have ketones which i know does this whole acid thingy so wondered if it could be related

High sugars might or might not have anything to do with it.
But you are on high doses of steroids that will cause major problems.
Can you pop along to your GP and ask for some medication to line your tummy?

My GP prescribed me something called omeprazole which I take half an hour before eating. It's supposed to protect my stomach from the aspirin and clopidogrel I'm taking. I've been taking it since diagnosis and haven't suffered any heartburn or indigestion, but I did get a lot of nausea from other meds I was on. Might be worth asking your GP if this would help you?
