Heartbeat?

You need to see a doctor and have an ECG. Any Arrhythmia should be investigated no matter what age you are. Disrupted heart rhythms can be a consequence of a diabetic complication called Autonomic Neuropathy ( natural functions you don't have to think about are disrupted).
Heart pauses are potentially serious.

You might even need 24 hour ambulatory monitor to record a full day's heart history.

I'm actually wondering if its thyroid related? Endo always ticks that I am 'on thyroxine' whenever I go for a blood test. But has never actually mentioned it, IMO they overlook a lot because they find me interesting.. like anemia. I haven't suffered any recent weight gain/loss thats not explained by diabetes or exercise but then if my numbers are higher
maybe causing the weight loss (not a lot! 4/5lbs) then perhaps thats due to thyroid things?

Personally I can't feel it stop, maybe it was a mistake but I will definately mention it to doc 🙂 THanks for your help.

Do you feel kind of dizzy when the rapid hearty beat ends ?

I can't say that its following that but I do get dizzy spells, i've got them far far worse before these are just a bit woah feeling.

I am being tested for CFS but maybe it isn't the case? Will definately get tests done asap!

If your thyroid is underactive you heart beat slows right down - mine did, it doesn't trip about though. Speeds up if overactive. Are you on thyroxine ? I think if you relay your symptoms to GP they ought to check via ECG. Had mine checked approx 13 years ago as it felt it was missing a beat then trying to make up for it with a rapid flutter, had ECG and nothing so cut out caffeine, nicotene and did my best to try and chill out a bit and not had it return to my knowledge. Definitely get it checked properly though.
