After wearing a heart monitor for 24 hours it has now gone back to hospital for the consultant to have a look at. All 3 of the sticky monitors had fallen off by the time I got back home. They gave me some spares, thank goodness. I taped the others on and thankfully they stayed on. Just got to wait and see what consultant says after my heart scan and this 24 hour monitoring. It is a busy week with monitoring yesterday and bit of today, eye screening tomorrow morning and
breast screening tomorrow afternoon.

I remember the busy time with all the tests and can look back now and think how glad I am they all got done and treatment followed. So well done you will soon have the results, try and take it easy now.

Try and take it easy while waiting for results

Thanks for your replies, Carolg and jusme. I am trying to chill out, but I had a major panic attack earlier at the breast screening. They were very good to me and we did manage to get the screening, which is the main thing.

That breast screening lark is horrendous which reminds me I've only ever been for one, must try and arrange another.

Lol at the sticky pads falling off, they are finickity. They've been threatening me with overnight blood pressure test but if I don't say owt they never follow up with it. Can't be doing with the hassle.

Good luck with your results, now tests are all over you can chill out. 🙂

The breast screening is an automatic call every 3 years here, once you reach screening age.

I've been once, with my sisters, all of an age. We did get one call back and didn't turn up for one reason or another. I then phoned to make an appt but they seemed reluctant and we just never went back. :( I must phone back.

Hope the results of your test are positive @spiritfree - sounds like you had a nightmare to start with!
