Mmmm babybels, when I make my own burgers I pop a babybel into the middle of them so they melt when you cook them.I love nuts, almonds, brazils, walnuts....yum yum. I haven't seen salted almonds anywhere but will have a look next time we're shopping. I try to keep a stock of nuts and Babybels for snacking 🙂
Pistachio nuts are ok but shelling them can be a bit of a struggle sometimes and you throw away 50% of what you bought. I have now stopped buying them from Lidl only buy the almonds loose now.
Coo, sounds lovely - and dead easy too, for a non-cook like me 🙂I either use 5% fat steak mince or turkey mince, finely chopped onion, mixed herbs, spices of choice (sometimes add a bit of paprika or cayenne pepper for a kick), mix together in a bowl with an egg to bind, then form into burger shapes (either with hands or using a burger press, lakeland do one thats designed for stuffed burgers), then grill or do on bbq until cooked. Yummy. I tend to make a batch up and freeze them with grease proof paper between so they dont stick together.
The are really easy.Coo, sounds lovely - and dead easy too, for a non-cook like me 🙂
Cant stand monkey nuts austin mini, but like salted peanuts. I think its the texture of the skin on the nuts i don't like.not that i'm a fussy monkeyOh dear Carolg, why not try some good old fashioned monkey nuts now and again. Easy to shell no salt and the taste brings you back to your childhood days too.
I don't like the skin on peanuts either. I am well known in my family for sitting there 'shelling' the skins off peanuts before I eat them. In fact, my sister one year bought me a large bag of skinned peanuts for Christmas just so I would make less mess at her house when eating them 😛Cant stand monkey nuts austin mini, but like salted peanuts.
