Since going on a low carb diet , i have been getting really bad headaches is this normal ?

Jenny i cant help but just wanted to suggest you have bee having an awful lot of stress lately so that could b a contributor to your bad head x

It may be the diet, some low carb diets have that effect. Other things also affect headaches, so worth investigating. Have you had your eyes checked lately? It may be eye strain, or you could be coming down with a virus or something, so a chat to the doctor may shed some light, and some people when they are having teeth problems also get headaches.

I hope you feel better soon and et rid of the headaches.

You aren't de-hydrated are you?

Don't know how long you have been low carbing, how many carbs is your interpretation of low carbing?, it seems a common side effect early one and most find they have to drink more water than usual.
As others have said, if it persists then you need to see your G.P.
