12.1 is high. However, being a rise of .6, from 11.5, after food isn't bad. As you do more testing and work on your diet both figures should improve.

I change the lancet after every use - but I am a musician, I really need all my fingers in good condition, which is what I have always had.
I found that my numbers gradually reduced week by week, as long as I kept the increase after meals to two or less.

I change my lancet urm....................................😛

Your 12 is high but it was a low rise on pre meal so that is good. It took me a couple of weeks to get into single figures but it can be done. I did some fasting so would eat say my last meal at 3pm and then not eat again until the following morning. I would do this a couple of times a week. I rarely do it now but as I was so high I felt I needed some drastic intervention.

I read what you had for Breakfast, lunch and dinner etc. and agree with others far too many carbs. I swapped my toast for eggs, my sandwich or pasta lunch for an open sandwich on Tesco Finest high protein bread (1 slice but lots of topping be it cheese, chicken etc.), dinner - I mainly have protein and veg. Always have green veg every day to stop constipation from low carbing. I rarely eat fruit now maybe just a couple of slices of pear or apple if my husband is eating the rest! If I have had a very low carb meal like chicken salad then I will have a small pudding - homemade better than shop bought processed.
