After 6 years of living in denial I’ve been trying really hard for the last 3 weeks to get things under control. Had a HBA1C last week and just found out that it’s 84.

I know I have a long way to go yet however it’s down from 108 in January and that was just with 2 weeks of actually taking my insulin so I’ll take that!

Well done Emma its a great result. X

That's a good drop in your HbA1c.

That's fantastic Emma!!

Don't underestimate how much effect the changes you are making could have to your long-term health.

Great stuff and keep going!

Great reduction result Emma. Will give you incentive to make a good effort for next time too. Well done.

They usually only do it once or twice a year unless there are problems in my experience. Your daily testing tells you a lot more anyway as it tells you what your levels are at different times of day. The HbA1c can give a good average but that could be achieved by balancing highs with lots of hypos!

Great news Emma, what a difference already

To begin with, it's generally done once every three months until they see treatment having effect and stabalising condition.
