Well it's that time again tomorrow, the terrible HbA1c results.
I have really tried hard but I am worrying that the iron infusion, which I had a few weeks ago, will mess it all up. I am lucky I see a really nice specialist and he is always very encouraging.
Oh well, wish me luck and I'll post the results tomorrow, for all to see.

Good luck with that. I had a blood test done on Tuesday and was told it was to check HbA1c. My next appointment with nurse is end of April, I suppose I will get the results then.

You can ring up before that for the results.
Mine was done on Tuesday by my GP result was available on Thursday.

Fingers crossed for you, I know what that's like - mine was 9.1 in November and my control is all over at the moment so I was dreading the latest one and to my shock it had come down to 7.6!!

Update

I went to clinic today and had a really good appointment.
My HbA1c has gone down from 7.4, last time, to 7.0 today.
I really wanted to get in the 6's. Maybe next time I will.

Really pleased to hear your appointment went well - and that's a great improvement given that you were worried it might go the other way! 🙂 Hope you can make that magic 6.x next time around!
