Been a while since I posted but I do really need help.
Firstly let me say,i have cut out things like potatoes, only eat a little wholegrain bread and fried rice once a week as a little Chinese treat on a Friday.
My problem is I have a craving for chocolate and just nibble at it all the time.I never feel full up and I am always hungry and to be honest eat it out of boredom.
Because I start work very early in the morning I do not have time to make breakfast and usually end up with tea and a scone(fruit).
Are there any sugar free mueslis out there and could someone point me to some sites where there are good sensible eating plans.
I am in despair at the minute and do not know what to eat, even after all these years.
Any help would be much appreciated.
I know many people here have managed to get down to good HBA1C's so it is possible.

Muesli's are pretty full on in the carb department which obviously might not be the best idea, do you test your levels at all? if so then great give them a go and see if you can tolerate them but I suspect you might not too well

I'm sure you could prepare something the previous evening to have for breakfast the next day, I weigh my stuff out the previous evening

You could try full fat yoghurt and berries/nuts which are quite low carb and easy to pot up the night before to be ready to grab
xx

Do you chose high cocoa chocolate, or are you eating the high carb ones?
It takes about 90 seconds to cook scrambled egg with cheese and then put a sliced tomato on top - even making a cup of coffee at the same time. That will keep you energised far longer than something with flour and sugar. If you don't have even that long, cook a pack of chicken thighs and put them in the fridge to grab in passing. They are dead cheap and can be roasted on a rack so the skin goes all crispy.
