Type 1.5 LADA
Got my 2nd HbA1c result today since I started on insulin in October last year and it is down to 7.5!🙂

Before I started on insulin it was 8.6 then it dropped to 8.0 after 3 months of injecting and now 7.5 so I'm really pleased. My cholesterol was down too and all the other tests were normal as well so that was good also.🙂
 
Well done Phil. Will you always have to be on insulin or will good results mean you can come off and go to tabs only?

Marg, I will always be on insulin as I was on max doses of metformin and gliclazide before starting insulin and my BG's were getting higher all the time.

By the way I still take metformin and a reduced dose of gliclazide.
