Morning everyone. Just rung the surgery for my annual Hba1c result ahead of my review on Monday. It’s 42 (6.0 in old money). Last year it was 40 so a slight increase but in honesty I was expecting higher.

Pleased about that but not overly impressed with myself lately. I could do better but without meds, living under immense stress and other serious illnesses makes it hard going.

But for today I’m happy! 🙂

Thanks everyone. Been a dreadful day generally though so it’s paled into insignificance. Loads of stressy things to sort and advocate on behalf of both my son and mother this morning. Eventually went out to de-stress and stopped for a coffee and a sandwich. Bit into the sandwich and my front crown cracked off completely! 😱
Dentist shortly to see what they can do and how much they can empty my purse!

Came home and hubbie’s day had been just as bad...everything that could go wrong did and then he badly cut his finger and thumb. Is it Friday yet?

No...Friday tomorrow...one of those days Amigo...almost over...just look forward to the weekend.

Fantastic! Just pretend it's Friday! Have a G & T ( or whatever floats your boat) put your feet up and only worry when Corrie doesn't start at half 7! And by then it's nearly bedtime and it really will be Friday! 😉

I need something folks. Been in dentist’s chair an hour debating how they’ll sort this front tooth. Two XRays later I have 5 separate appointments scheduled for complicated root canal work right up to end of Nov. (made more hazardous because of bleeding and infection risks for me). Dentist was brilliant though but how I wish I hadn’t had that crusty bun! That’ll teach me a lesson! 😳

I'm so sorry to hear about the tooth and its consequences :( So upsetting when you get a tooth problem for a trivial reason :( I hope that the treatment goes smoothly, and to plan {{{HUGS}}}

Oh my! That will hurt, in your pocket that is! I never have to have "normal" dentistry work done, i.e. fillings, but the last three years I have had two crowns replaced, front ones at that. And also root canal work last year which involved lots of appointments. Needed a second mortgage! Hope it only does hurt you in the pocket and your dentist is gentle. Brandy is definitely needed for tooth problems, it's the law! 😉
