Just had a phone call from my surgery.

Not good as in that they were calling me in concerning my bloods with my doctor wanting to see me preferably beginning of the week and no later than next Friday:confused: So don't know what's that's all about..

But I mentioned to the receptionist that I'm seeing my diabetic consultant on Tuesday, so do I need to see my doctor and sort the results out with my consultant? She wasn't sure but decided that she would get my doctor to phone me this afternoon to discuss it with me...

But I did take the chance to ask what my HbA1c is, in hold money it's 5.9% well chuffed with that..

Saying that I wonder if that's why my doctor want to see me about, thinking too many hypo's?

WOW, that is a great result.............well done.......

Have you been taking more hypos?

I don't get many hypo's per month, I get a shaky patch for a couple of days well I am female with shifting hormones... And then my hypo awareness is very good so catch them around about the 3.8 mark very rare that it's ever lower than 3.5, just tight control my SD is 1.4 mmol/l

I do have sub clinical under active thyroid which I've had for around 25 years or so and before I had diabetes, they did try me on Thyroxine a couple of years back but didn't get on with it...

Hopefully I won't have to wait long for my GP to call, but shalln't hold my breath though, she's good as in, you sees/deals with the patient, not by the time on the clock but by what time that consultation needs, so generally her clinic's etc over run by quite a margin... Which I for one wouldn't complain about just wait patiently..

Great result Ellie, hope the other things is nothing to worry about and gets sorted for you soon 🙂

Well I've now had my phone call from my doctor...

And it's my thyroids now really do need treatment starting sooner than later, which considering that my doctor have arranged that I have all the thyroids test run, both the function and the outcome one which If I remember rightly is the T4 one so it sounds like, all tests are showing problems..

But the good news is that I can discuss this with my consultant on Tuesday, rather than having to book an appointment with my doctor... She has warned me it needs treating now, and I'm not to forget to mention this to my consultant...

Good that you know what it is Ellie, and that it can be treated without too much fuss 🙂

Great A1c Ellie. Hope the thyroid treatment helps you out.

Well done for a great A1c Ellie! 🙂

well done ellie, i hope everything else turns out to be good news for you aswel.

Sorry to hear about your Thyroid, but not your A1c ! - excellent!
