It reads as though you are having 'just a little' of a fair few carby foods, and unfortunately they all add up quite rapidly over the course of a day or a week, even the 'healthy' options.
 
Yes, tighter control needed
Hopefully with renewed effort I will restart weight loss which will help with diabetes.
