Relationship to Diabetes
At risk of diabetes
I have been repeatedly blood tested and always come up OK, including recently (see attached results).

But I have many of the symptoms, and more are showing up:
1) have to drink (and then urinate out) huge amounts of water. Including night time urination. Always thirsty, regardless of amount of water intake. - 25-30 years

2) Chronic, persistent fungal skin infections that will just not go away - 25 years

3) Neuropathy, the classic hot feet as well as nerve damage all the way up the legs (tingling, numbness, etc. Extreme symptoms). With no known reason. - 4-years

4) And now I got suddenly an unexplained scab/psoriasis that appeared on bottom of my foot for no reason and will not go away even with aloe, lotions, etc. It even bleeds. And when I finally showed it to my regular doctor, his 1st comment was: "Hmm. That almost looks like Diabetes foot.", but dismissed it given my recent lab results. - 2-3 months

5) I get extremely hypoglycemic (can't think and VERY cranky) if I don't eat (which I sadly do quite often)

Also my mother is diabetic.

That is just too many pointing at diabetes. Can the blood test be false negatives?
What else should I do?
Please any suggestions.

Very concerned,

Don't think the blood test can give false negatives and in any case a retest should sort that out. The diagnosis of what is going on is on for the GP and if he is stuck then he should refer you on. So my suggestion is to go back to your GP and be persistent.

My blood has been tested many times over those years, and even though I have no idea what was tested or the results, the doctors always said it looks great.
So what can explain all these persistent classic diabetes symptoms?

Really, nobody here can diagnose you & you'll have to persevere with doctors - sorry!

But just one thing - have you had an HbA1c test? That's the common thing used to diagnose diabetes. Including in the US, which is where you are, right? It's not included in what you attached, just your fasting blood glucose (which looks "normal" but I suppose it might just be possible for that to be "normal" when your HbA1c says "diabetic").

The HbA1c gives an estimate of yr avg blood glucose over the last 3-4 months; fasting blood glucose is just a spot measurement for when it's taken.

Thank you. That's a start. I can request that the test be done.

Yes, that's what another person suggested. Going to call the lab on Monday to see if I can go in and do it without a doctor referral. If not, call my doctor to request one.
What shoudl I look for in the results?

PS- the actual test results said "no" next to "fasting". I Changed them to "yes" before posting, thinking that was an error, because in reality I didn't eat for at least 8 hours before (actually probably more like 12, including night time).

Depends on yr lab to some extent, but in the US I think generally "normal" is < 5.7%, "pre-diabetes" < 6.5%.

I'd be surprised if you tested diabetic, with a fasting BG of 86 ("normal" is < 100) but as Benny G says, a "normal" HbA1c result should be enough to rule it out of consideration.
