Relationship to Diabetes
Type 1
I'm type 1 and worried that my mostly poor control is catching up with me... I noticed yesterday that my feet and legs were quite swollen and my feet had turned slightly blue, they were still slightly swollen this morning, but I'm worried that something might be wrong...

definitely one for a doctor - and soon - weekend looming.

Sorry to hear this @Abip92

How long have you lived with diabetes and what do you use to you manage it?

It seems like you are aware that your management may not be optimal right now... I hope the sensations/swelling in your feet can get checked out soon and are nothing to worry about, but in the meantime it;s great that you have joined here. There are lots of folks who will instinctively 'get it' and we can all share experiences, ask questions and rant and moan our way through this silly business.

Have you ever been offered a course on T1 management? Do you carb count? Sorry for all the questions, but if you can give us a little more background we may be able to offer some pointers which might help.
