It is worth it does it spike our sugar levels
I love cooking but missing cake and treats please advise is this a yes or a huge No
Thanks in advance ☺️

There are low carb cakes you could make @jjcypher Try looking at some of @Martin62 ’s lovely baking. He posts delicious-looking photos.

Watch out for which sweeteners they use in commercial mixes. Some people are reactions to stevia.

id be more concerned about watching out for my wallet *yowch thats expensive*

Thats my thought with most things. Ive tried not to buy things .
I make blueberry muffins should be 6 large but i use fairy cake . i have one for bfast and one at eleven . Not everytime not everyday but they are nice.
Nuts if just picky.
Cheese hits the stomach well if im hungry going to bed. But i have to be thinking ill cheat as its a luxury.
i am pleased low carb is working for me.

At one point I was trying to find some air frier recipes for treats/snacks where you could cook from frozen individually.
I liked the thought of it being a decision requiring a little effort vs grabbing something in passing.

Im so missing my cake of an evening with my last cuppa thats my problem
I think the piece of cake with the afternoon cuppa pushed me over into diabetic zone so that went immediately. I now have a quarter of a Nature Valley Protein bar instead 3g carb max.

Sugar free cake mix they have a website
I just wanted to know if they were worth getting and what they were like

Sugar free does not necessarily mean low carb so be careful to look at the carbs not just sugar for the product.

It depends what you call low carb these cakes for the Vanilla 11.7g per slice and Chocolate is 12g per slice.
So if you made the cake you would still need discipline.
I think having cake would be a treat but i also wonder if in addition to the meals snacks would re kick start old habits ?

Im actually not that bad i will only have a cake as an after evening meal treat even if there were to be other treats in the house my daughter has a cupboard full of junk food it doesn't bother me

Not sure what info you looked at but it says EACH SERVING IS ONLY 1g NET CARBS - Avoid spiking your blood sugar levels with this amazing Groovy Keto low carb and keto friendly vanilla cake mix (You can also make cupcakes from this keto mix).
Pertty low carb in my book.
