Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
I was told that I was Diabetes 2 last February , with a HB1ac of 6.9. I came onto our site, and started following your low Carb guidelines. In May, I was 6.1. I was put on a pre Diabetic course, run from my local Doctors Clinic. 4 weeks and now once a month for a year. I learned a lot, and last week my reading was 5.6. So, I'm delighted with your advice. I've also got your book on counting calories and carbs. A great help. It a matter of staying focused now. I've also lost 8 lbs in weight so far. I try to keep carbs down to about 100 to 120 per day. My Husband cooks and watches everything for me.

That is great news. You have done really well
5.6 % is 38 in the not so new measurement, which is in the excellent range on this conversion chart.

Fabulous news Anne! 🙂 Well done, I'm really pleased for you 🙂 All it takes is getting the right information, guidance and support - and your own efforts, of course! 🙂

Well done - to be able to eat so many gm of carbs and achieve that Hba1c is very promising - your metabolism must have recovered to a far better place than mine, perhaps due to earlier detection or maybe not being bombarded with bad advice on diet, such as I had for decades - may it only get better for you.

Well done Anne! That’s a great success story 🙂

Well done in your achievement, and great that you have found a level of carbs that suits your body.
