Happy New Year to everyone, friends old and new. And Happy 18th Birthday to my lad. I can't believe he's now a MAN!!! Heck, how did that happen???

2013 is going to bring some big changes to our lives, but hopefully it's all for the good. I have a really positive feeling things are going to really turn around this year.

I sincerely hope EVERYONE has a very happy and healthy 2013.

Thanks Steff. He hasn't surfaced yet. He arrived home at 2.30am. Managed to get his key in the door so I guess that's a positive start :D Will leave well alone for a while yet I think!

Belated Happy Birthday to you Phil. I have decided there are definite life stages, and sadly sober birthdays are a sign of increasing age!

It goes like this

Cider/cheap lager
Real ale/strong lager
Red wine
Port/quality brandy
TEA!!!

If you have reached level 5 then you are officially old :D

I do all 5 in one day.... :D just change the order
tea
cheap lager
red wine
port
strong lager
 
I've decided there are other life stages that give your age away, as well as what liquid you consume.

Discovering Radio 2 (early/mid 30's)

Discovering gardening (Oh dear Northerner - you've got that one bad I recall!) (early/mid 40's)

Afternoon naps! (late 40's)

Will let you know the rest as my life journey continues :D

Anyone set any resolutions?

Just got back from visiting the in-laws, we decided 2013 is the year to declutter all cuboards, sad or what!

My 5 life stages: milk/squash/Bacardi & Coke/Vodka & Orange/ White wine spritsers. With the occasional cup of tea thrown in.
